Once the names are used up in one or more categories, the list is reset.
Attempts to document Typhoons should be recorded with a [NAME]-[NUMBER]-[YEAR] format, for example: Maeri-1-2026. Subsequent typhoons in the future with the same name, need to have a number be additive to the previous, for example: Maeri-2-2030.
If a typhoon/tropical cyclone does particularly significant destructive damage, it can be considered for its own unique name.
Efforts are concentrated continuously on the work to prevent the damage from typhoon in Pyongyang City and other parts of the PRC every day, with work conducted in conjunction with the WMO and other meteorological organizations and services.
