"Kuafu, 9.9 Rocket" Prepapres for 3rd Sun Expedition
The Chongroan scientific programme of solar exploration has achieved another remarkable success.
The group of Oakshaders launched during August has successfully reached the Sun, with research papers, scientific documents and other equipment now returning toward Chongroan territory for examination by researchers.
The successful mission has provided scientists with valuable information concerning the extreme solar environment and is expected to contribute to the Republic's continuing research into heat-resistant materials, radiation protection and advanced solar technologies.
Meanwhile, preparations are already underway for another and considerably larger expedition.
On September 10, shortly after the celebration of the National Day of the People's Republic of Chongro, approximately 22 Oakshaders will be launched aboard a new spacecraft.
The mission has been given the aptly nicknamed "Kuafu, 9.9 Rocket"
The name derives from the ancient Huanese mythological figure Kuafu, who famously pursued the Sun — "chasing the Sun."
The September expedition is expected to become one of the largest Oakshader scientific missions yet undertaken and will continue the Republic's ambitious programme of solar exploration.
