New Premier elected at Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Chongro

At the historic Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Chongro, Comrade Kim Pyeol Nam has been officially elected as Premier following the reorganization and renewal of the Party’s central leadership organs.

The election reflects the unity, discipline, and unshakable revolutionary spirit of the Workers’ Party of Chongro, which continues to guide the nation along the path of socialism and sovereign development.

Former Premier Choe Thae Min, who faithfully served the Party and the people, personally handed over the responsibilities of office to Comrade Kim Pyeol Nam. In a dignified and symbolic moment, he introduced the newly elected Premier to the office from which he will carry out his duties in service to the Party, the state, and the people.

The smooth and orderly transition of leadership once again demonstrates the institutional strength and political maturity of the Chongroan socialist system.
