Small Tractors presented to farms in Ikwang Province

Small tractors provided by the Kingdom of Earland were received and presented to farms in Ikwang Province on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Chongro.

A meeting for presenting the tractors was held in Tongrim City on October 10.

Present there were local officials and the department director of the Central Committee of the WPC in Ikwang Province, officials concerned and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Chongro (UAWC).

Mun Chol, chairman of the UAWC, made a presentation speech and a presentation certificate was handed over amid the participants’ applause to be followed by resolution-making speeches.

The speakers said that the tractors are associated with the growing friendship and cooperation between the People's Republic of Chongro and the Kingdom of Earland, especially on the 80th founding anniversary of the WPC.

They called upon the UAWC members to make devoted efforts for the country like the young patriots of the preceding generation who themselves contributed to the advance and development of the socialist country by providing cranes, trucks and tractors and making selfless efforts of improving agriculture in the country.

At the end of the meeting the participants saw off the small tractors heading for the fields of Ikwang Province.
