Pyongyang International Trade Fair to Convene on August 10th

The fair, which will bring together over a few dozen companies from several countries and regions, would be an occasion to boost cooperation and exchange among countries in trade, economic, scientific and technological and other different fields.

It would be the 6th PITF event with 5 others having been held before hand.

Rolling stocks, machines and equipment, apparatuses for developing up-to-the-minute technologies, electronic, electrical and metal goods, light industrial goods, foodstuffs, military equipment and both military and civilian vehicles, daily necessaries and other commodities will be exhibited.

Director of the corporation Ri Su Dok told CCNA that during the fair, companies of many countries will discuss such issues as the promotion of trade and cooperative relations and investment in and economic cooperation with each other and the PRC.

More than a few dozen companies from over 5 countries including the New Woodlands, Finlandia, New Havlan, Farland, Narra, Kingdom of Bear Islands, the Dominion, Scorchshade and others have applied for the participation in the fair and have been registered before.

The number of applicants is on the increase.

Over 100 pieces of 200 or so separate items have been exhibited in the preceding five rounds of the fair participated in by scores of countries.

In September Juche 110 (2021), the Chongroan International Exhibition Corporation sponsored the Pyongyang International Economic, Technological and Infrastructure Exhibition.

On display there were different pieces and items including energy-convert and storage technology, medical appliances, water-supply and drainage facilities and network technologies, long-distance communication system and goods.
