Ninth Congress of GFTUC to be convened

The Ninth Congress of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Chongro (GFTUC) is due to be held in Pyongyang early in May 2026.

The 15th Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the GFTUC decided to convene the Ninth Congress of the GFTUC in order to redouble the spirit of advance of the working class and all the GFTUC members and further enhance the functions and role of the GFTUC organizations.
