New Woodlands Escalates Tension in Velmeria

Strong criticism was directed at the New Woodlands for provoking confrontation and fostering instability in Velmeria.

The New Woodlands air force and its navy mounted a missile attack on Velmeria from the San Alamo area and between the strait of Borzskarzia and New Woodlands where they entered the bay area, from where missiles were directed towards Velmeria on the night of April 4th.

Velmeria was completely cut off from the international community following Woodtardian radio jamming operations which was quickly followed by the Woodtardian air force attack on cities such as St. John and the surroundings of Tolbury in the sky and various cities and towns with much of the anti-aircraft force destroyed by the missiles.

According to personnel who survived the attacks in Velmeria, many of the military bases and arms depot belonging to the Chongroan People's Army and Velmerian soldiers in the suburbs of St. John and Tolbury and other cities were destroyed and a total count of 200 or so troops killed, which is about 3 platoons.

The Chongroan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates sent letters to the UN secretary general and president of the UN Security Council respectively to strongly demand New Woodlands be punished for such an attack.

On the same day, the New Havlan MoFA met with representatives of the New Woodlands government to discuss the Velmerian issue in depth, hoping for New Woodlands to use diplomatic means to just recognize the country and end the 4 year long conflict already.

New Woodlands proved itself instead to be a threat to global stability and a war hawk by initiating a missile attack by killing hundreds, possibly thousands more in Velmeria.

The UN Security Council needs to take urgent steps as the New Woodlands invasion into the airspace of Velmeria is an infringement on its sovereignty. The Woodtardian air raid is a war crime that cannot be ignored.

A flagrant violation against the sovereign states, the recent Woodtardian missile attack provoked immediate public protest and denunciation across the world.

This is an unpardonable criminal act of wantonly violating the sovereignty of Velmeria and seriously harassing peace and security in the Western Continent.

It is imperative for lasting peace in the Terra-Onrania to end New Woodlands' aggression and hostile acts and ensure the Velmerian people legitimate national right to found a sovereign state.

We strongly denounce New Woodlands' gangster-like act and extend full support and solidarity to the Velmerians in their just cause.

Reality shows that if it persistently clings to military provocation and the seizure of other country’s territory that disturb peace and stability in the region, New Woodlands will face stronger public protest and denunciation and it cannot evade international isolation and rejection.

If needs be, we will use any means necessary to fully guarantee the peace and stability of Velmeria, even if it means a full intervention in the region, sending back in the Special Operative Units of the Chongroan People's Army and turning every one of its allies either into ashes or against it in its aggressive strategy in geopolitics.
