The Mansudae Overseas Projects Company (MOPCo) was established in 2000, originally for domestic construction work projects, before having a reevaluation and an reorganization in 2012, having carried the name Mansudae Construction Projects Company (MCPC) before the reevaluation when it was changed to its modern name Mansudae Overseas Projects Comapny and decided to do construction work abroad and lead major grand projects and construction of cities and towns in the third world and other countries.
MOPCo has lead various projects of grand importance both domestically and internationally, having completed significant projects for example in Bonkland, with the MOPCo constructed skyscraper in Bonkow downtown area, and an entire town that was built in the countryside, other construction projects have also been led in countries such as Pinewood, New Woodlands, Finlandia, Skilatvia and others.
MOPCo specializes in housing/residential projects, skyscrapers, monuments and commercial construction projects (department stores, retails, etc), but has done industrial projects such as the Taedonggang Brewery in 2000, which was its first major construction project ever.
MOPCo is an internationally recognized company with great skills in construction, with a variety of techniques and styles in use within the company of severely hundred workers, artists and architects that are part of the Chongroan Architects Union.
The company has established advanced methods of construction, such as improving the way in how the cage mesh is used, including other meshes that were introduced to the people, eventually the cage mesh was come to be known as the "people's mesh".
As the years have passed, MOPCo still continues its efforts of improving its quality and meeting the demands of the times and the people and the foreign customers who are interested in low-brick cost, high-quality buildings, monuments, cities, towns, skyscrapers and more.
