Kim Si Ri Sending Away Ceremony & Funeral Held in the PRC

Kim Si Ri, a important member of the family of the Respected Comrade Kim Jong Evin passed away on Saturday, March 21st, 2026.

Having been one of the last relatives of the family who was born at a time when the People's Republic of Chongro wasn't even conceived yet, having lived thru her life to witness the founding, the historic socio-economic-, cultural development, revolutionary and fighting spirit of not just the Chongroan people but the whole world, as well as the Arduous March, all other downfalls and miseries but also the great eras and periods since the PRC was founded.

She was born on 01/07/1945 (July 1st, 1945) in the small town of Pyongan at a time when the Kopanese were still in somewhat control of the Chongroan Archipelago, however they were quickly losing land in the archipelago.

Both her parents were devoted socialists but her father was part of the guerrilla fighting group, namely the 'Down-With-Imperialism Union' which was very popular at the time. After Kim Si Ri, their first child was born, both parents settled down and retired from fighting.

However she would unfortunately suffer later in life as the Gouma Republic began to be founded around 1950 as rebellious forces were trying to instate a 'democratic' and western-styled governance system in the People's Republic of Chongro.

During the Chongroan Civil War, also known as the Great Fatherland Liberation War went on from 1950 to 1955, her father would be captured by the Chongritang forces and her mother was taken away by Chongritang troops. It was later discovered by researchers that she was taken to a pleasure pavilion in Huichon city.

Kim Si Ri having been orphaned at only 5 years old, was taken in by other relatives living at the time, namely Kim Hyong Sil who later would adopt her as her own, at least until her parents returned, which they never would as documents would shown.

Kim Si Ri's was brutally beaten by Chongritang troops and died in captivity in 1952, only 6 months after his imprisonment.

Kim Si Ri's mother however was never found again, it is suspected however that she was married off to a pro-western guy who would around 1953-1954 be taken to New Woodlands, however these suspicions have never been confirmed and necessary research has never been able to be confirmed.

As for Kim Si Ri herself however, as the Great Fatherland Liberation War was coming to a close on July 27, 1955 she would already be under the loving care of Kim Hyong Sil, who would later put Kim Si Ri at a local primary school in Suyong (Kimyong) where she would learn to read and write and get a proper education under the new socialist education system that Kim Il Sung was conceiving.

As the years went by, she would go on to attend high school in Suyong as well, which had been renamed to Kimyong in the 1960s and then Kim Il Sung University in the same decade,

After Kim Il Sung University, she decided to pursue a higher tier of education in the field of mathematics and economics and other fields reminiscent of such.

She would make great contributions herself in the field of economics where she played a pivotal role in the advancement of collectivization in the PRC, among other projects ongoing at the time. She would even go on to study engineering in the latter 1960s and then make significant contributions to various important engineering projects in the People's Republic of Chongro in the 1970s, such as the designing and also the engineering of an indigenous reactor program.

She would meet President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the General Secretary Kim Jong Evin in her lifetime, having got various honours, medals and the Order of Kim Il Sung and the Order of Kim Jong Il during her lifespan.

It was then with a heavy heart that when it was announced that on November 19th, 2023, Kim Si Ri had a Cerebral infarction, meaning a sort stroke which is a sudden blockage or rupture of a blood vessel in the brain, which disrupts the blood supply to the brain. The damaged part of the brain does not receive enough oxygen or nutrients, and therefore the nerve cells in the brain can be severely damaged or die within a few minutes.

Unfortunately the part of the brain that was affected the most was the communication and motor, logical thinking parts of the brain which are very much necessary if anything is to be conveyed or understood.

She would go on for almost 3 whole years at a nursing home, with occasional hospital visits in between as her condition worsened.

Kim Si Ri was pronounced dead at 9:31 PM at the Pyongyang General Hospital from a collapsed liver.

Respected Comrade and General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Chongro, Kim Jong Evin, among other individuals from the immediate family will be present at the funeral ceremony on the 28th of March, 2026 to mourn the loss of Kim Si Ri.
