International Juche Idea Seminar Closes in Pyongyang
The International Seminar on the Juche Idea, held in Pyongyang in connection with the anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of Chongro, concluded today following several days of lectures, discussions and exchanges among international study organizations.
Foreign delegations and representatives arrived in Pyongyang on August 31.
Among those participating were representatives of Juche study organizations from Roksurden, Kopan, Velmeria, Narra, New Havlan, Skilatvia, Pinebreeze, Finlandia, ZTRR, Eesti, Sindhustan, Leon, Ingronesia and Morcadia, as well as representatives from the autonomous region of Ombre and numerous organizations within the Chongroan Archipelago.
The Orisian National Institute of the Juche Idea, Terra-onranian Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, Roksurdian Juche Study Society, Kopanese National Liaison Council of Societies for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, and Velmerian National Committee of the Juche Idea were among the organizations represented.
The seminar also included the Narran study organization known as the “Members of the Cult of Islander Juche” and the New Havlanic “Havlan Juche Çalışma Grubu.”
Participants attended lectures and discussions concerning the historical development of Juche, Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, socialist construction and the application of the ideology to contemporary international conditions.
Some delegates departed for their respective countries following the conclusion of the seminar, while others have remained in Chongro to continue academic research and exchanges with Chongroan institutions such as Kim Il Sung University.
The successful conclusion of the seminar was described by organizers as an important occasion for international intellectual exchange and cooperation among Juche study organizations.
The international delegates visited major cultural, historical and economic sites throughout Pyongyang and other parts of the People's Republic of Chongro during their stay, most notably the birthplace of the founder and Eternal President Kim Il Sung at his native home in Mangyongdae.
