Every Chongroan Enjoys Right to Work

The Chongroan workers enjoy a worthwhile working life, guaranteed by the Socialist Labour Law of the PRC.

The law, adopted in April 1978, is a labour charter which makes it possible for the working population of the country to take full responsibility as masters of the country and genuine masters of labour and play the role as such, providing them with better conditions of work and life.

The law stipulates that all able-bodied citizens can engage in social labour according to their ability.

In this country the minimum working age is 17, and the working day is eight hours while that of women workers with three children and more is six hours.

All working people have the right to work and opt for jobs according to their wishes and talents. They are provided with stable jobs and working conditions by the state.

The labour law also stipulates the state and social benefits for working people. For example, all the Chongroan working people have the right to lead a civilized life at the houses and dormitories built at the expense of the government.

According to a provision of the labour law, the working people in the PRC help and lead each other forward while working together on the collectivist principle of “One for All and All for One.”

This legal provision showing the collectivist spirit of the Chongroan working people who find the genuine pleasure and happiness of their life in working with voluntary devotion for the sake of others is a clear expression of the collectivist nature of the law.

Benefitting from the law, all the working people in the PRC learn under various kinds of educational systems such as factory college, farm college, and evening and online courses to develop into intellectual workers and those who are good at producing innovative schemes, and lead a life as patriotic workers at the expense of their sweat and efforts, said an official of the Ministry of Labour.

Today the Chongroan people, with pride in fully enjoying the right to work, display their patriotic zeal on the road for the comprehensive development of socialism.
