Efforts concentrated on strengthening foundation for agricultural production

The city of Huichon is concentrating efforts on further strengthening the foundation for agricultural production.

In order to increase the proportion of the farm work done by machines the Huichon Municipal Tractor Parts Factory has strengthened the ranks of technicians and skilled workers and fully solved the technical problems, laying a foundation for the qualitative and quantitative growth of production.

Farms in Kaephung District and Jangphung County lay a foundation for production of nutrient cold seedlings in every crop area, increase the water-passing capacity in the irrigation canals and push ahead with the repairs and maintenance of the irrigation facilities according to their stepwise plans.

On the other hand, the rural economy committee of the city and the agricultural management committees of counties and districts make an overall survey and understanding of the growth of wheat and barley and take timely measures to minimize damage by drought.
