3 Years Since Liberation of Roksurden Marked

The people of the People's Republic of Chongro and the Roksurden People's Republic significantly marked the third anniversary of the liberation of Roksurden from fascist rule.

On June 6, 2023, the heroic soldiers of the Chongroan People's Army, fighting alongside allied forces, liberated the Roksurden people from the fascist regime which had threatened peace and stability near the Chongroan Archipelago. The historic victory opened a new chapter in the destiny of the Roksurden people and laid the foundations for the construction of a peaceful and socialist society.

In the three years since liberation, the two Roksurden states established following the defeat of fascism have enjoyed stability, development and improved social welfare, demonstrating the superiority of systems founded upon peace, cooperation and the interests of working people.

On the occasion of the anniversary, President Hermann Albrecht of the Roksurden People's Republic and General Secretary of the Socialist Unity Party of Roksurden sent a congratulatory letter to the Respected Comrade Kim Jong Evin.

In his message, President Albrecht noted that the fraternal relations between the People's Republic of Chongro and the Roksurden People's Republic continue to develop under the banner of socialism and proletarian internationalism. He stated that both countries have injected fresh vigor into the worldwide struggle for socialism and communism by faithfully serving their peoples and advancing socialist construction in accordance with their national conditions.

The letter praised the workers of both countries who have displayed ardent patriotism and devotion in developing the foundations of the self-supporting economy. Particular mention was made of workers in the coal-mining industry and other key industrial sectors whose efforts strengthened economic independence and clearly demonstrated the vitality of the policies advanced by the Workers' Party of Chongro and the Socialist Unity Party of Roksurden.

President Albrecht also highlighted the achievements made in science, education, public health, literature and the arts. Through continued cooperation and development, both countries have achieved progress in modernizing their economies, advancing information technologies, improving educational standards and expanding healthcare services, thereby contributing to the well-being and cultural development of their peoples.

The message further emphasized the successes achieved in the field of national defence. Workers and technicians in the munitions industry were commended for strengthening defensive capabilities through the production of modern military equipment, thereby safeguarding the gains of socialism and ensuring peace and security for future generations.

The anniversary was marked by meetings, cultural events and gatherings in both countries, where participants paid tribute to the sacrifices made during the struggle against fascism and reaffirmed their determination to further strengthen the bonds of friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the peoples of Chongro and Roksurden.

The liberation of Roksurden remains a proud chapter in the history of the Chongroan People's Army and stands as a lasting testament to the internationalist spirit of the peoples of Chongro and Roksurden in their common struggle against fascism, imperialism and reaction.
